...until the RAP is resolved.  You can try using "Contact Us" and give them a heads-up about the pending Problem Report but it's hard to say which dept. will get to your communication first.

On profile problem reports, you are correct in that they are locked out. In reporting posts, they can be reported multiple times, and there is no lockout. Either way, your "Contact Us" idea might work, but like you said, it depends who gets the message first, so it might be too late.

At least not all the time.  Many times I've reported a problem with a profile, submitted the report, then was told my report was a "duplicate" and thus there was no credit. If there's a lock out on problem reports on profiles, how can duplicates happen?  (BTW, same thing has happened to me on problem reports on reviews.)

For years it has always been that once a problem report is submitted, the profile is locked out, so no other problem reports could be submitted until the existing one was closed. You received a message something like "a problem report has already been submitted on this profile. Please check back in 48 hours."

I just submitted one today, then clicked on the link to submit an other one and the box opened, so I guess they did away with the lockout.

I've submitted many prob reports only to be told it's a duplicate.

Other times (hmmm ... how recent?) I still get the lock out notice.

It's TIME AND TROUBLE to provide all the info I think they need so I would prefer the lockout.  If the problem I noticed isn't resolved after 48 hrs (but a different one is), I'll click "RAP" and get busy.

TER is wasting enough of my time :-) , at least save me from the aggravation of a "duplicate" rejection
