...I support admin. closing threads when they judge that the posts are no longer constructive, but there ought to be some sort of code # to go along with the closing post to tell which rule was broken or the offenders will not know what they did to cause admin's action, too many posters don't seem to understand the rules.

I think it's hard to pose an all purpose rule for the times that threads get closed...

I guess you could call it the "Jump the Shark" rule.

Some times enough is enough.
