Hi Staff:

I have an idea for a possible future contest. What I am about to suggest may be scoffed at by some, perhaps even many. However, I think that this might be an interesting change of pace.

All TER contests thus far have been fun and interesting. I do believe though that our community is ready for something a bit more cerebral. What I am thinking is a "Favorite Poster" contest.

Who is the most liked(or disliked ) poster on the message boards?

The contest could (and this is only a suggestion) be determined by the following criteria.

Who posts the most threads, or replies, regionally, or nationally, or both?

Who garners the most hits to his, or her threads, and/or replies?

Which writers writing style stands out among  the rest?

These variables are merely ideas, and not set in stone, but for consideration only.

Other things to be considered, are things like a minimum number of threads, or responses to threads, and/or length of time participating.

The whole idea is to determine who is the best writer.

The nice thing about this is that this contest is not gender specific, and for most I have to believe that just being nominated, much less winning would be reward enough. Consequently, I have to believe that a prize if any would not need to be on the scale of previous contests.

Again, I am spitballing here, but I think it's an idea.

What do you say?

Interesting idea... Do you think people would be in to this?  Any thoughts?  Anyone?

I can come up with something more concrete?

Again we are not speaking about the great american novel here.

Objectively speaking I think it would go over big if implimented.

Please let me know if you want a more concrete proposal.

We agree again. The world must be coming to an end. By the way Harmon, I was voted Most Likely to Speak Her Mind in high school. I *know* you're totally shocked and overwhelmed by that thought.
