Should I Review?

I will be seeing a U.S. provider in the near future, in the U.S. Her reviews are not currently visible on TER because of her location. What would happen if I review her? Will the review be completely rejected? Or will the review be accepted, and become visible later if she re-locates outside the U.S. or TER goes back to normal operations? Will I get credit for my review? If so, do I get the credit now, or only when the provider re-locates outside the U.S.? Or when TER resumes normal operations? Would I be better off waiting until closer to the three-month mark, to see what happens?

have you alerted the provider to the possibility of her changing her residence on TER to outside the US, so that her profile and reviews will be visible?

would be futile! My advice is to have her take the steps to get it reinstated before you review her. Have her get a vpn and set it to a city and country outside of the US and have her let  TER Support know she's relocated outside of the US to a city and country outside of the US. I've "relocated" to Toronto Canada but visit North Carolina and other states all the time. ;-)

Steph XO

I just started a review by entering the TER ID number of someone who relocated to a non-US home base and it loaded up OK.
.
I then cancelled that one and started again by entering the TER ID of someone whose Profile is currently blocked (US based) but who was active, at least until a week or two before the shut down occurred. When I enter her TER ID number, I get this message: "Provider with TER ID ###### not found."
.
When I search reviews / Profile of that #, I get the header with her name and TER ID and stars, but this message: "Provider information is no longer available on TER."  So it's a little inconsistent: Name/ID is found using "search reviews" but is NOT found when trying to START a review ... but not a huge deal at this time.

Pending an official policy announcement, I think TER should allow new review submissions, approve/reject them, but not post them until the entire situation is resolved. When the entire Profile and reviews of currently blocked Providers become unblocked, the new reviews should also post (IMO).

...asking TER. Then come back and let us know what they say.
