I don't know just how the ladies gain access to this board.  Perhaps the following is already in place?

We get 2 weeks for every accepted review.  How about if the ladies were offered the same?  Perhaps a sliding scale where they get free time for every review 7/7 and above and a month for every 10/10?

I made a bunch of new provider friends this summer, and nearly all of them say that they do not have access to this site.  Of course, I'm sure that provider revenue may be an important part of the business model, but they are the real reason this site is successful.

I don't fully understand how they can not have site access, it's free to join.  Unless they ask for limited vip when they get their first review, they will not have that.  As far as I know, providers have the same options to pay for membership as we do.  If they want to read other providers' reviews, they will have to pay.  Unfortunately, providers do not have any way to get free vip like we do, other than the limited.  I have to agree, it seems like they should have a way to get some free vip.  I don't think review scores is the answer, that would lead to inflated reviews, IMHO.

Hi tonguelover,
Tell them to join TER the same way you did. That is as a basic member which is free to everyone. Then tell them to check out the "Self-Help Center" which can be found on most TER message boards by clicking on the "Self-Help Center" link (it's in teal colored font) found under the red and white life preserver near the upper right of the message board page. There is a lot of info there for providers and hobbyists. They will find the link for providers that explains how to get the free limited provider VIP mentioned by swimtrekr. All they need is at least one review and follow the instructions. There are very few reasons they wouldn't have TER access and they would only come into play if they had had access in the past and did something to cause TER to remove it.

It's really pretty simple. All it takes is a little time and reading.

Even if they don't have reviews they can still read here, learn here, and post ads here. Again all they need to do is read the "Self-Help Center".

We get Limited VIP (access to our own reviews only), but not only can we NOT access other reviews (not a big deal), but more importantly to me when I'm screening, we can NOT use any search functions, because they are for VIP members only.  So, if a hobbyist gives me his TER handle for verification, and he hasn't been whitelisted by anyone, I can't do anything with it.

So, I bought a VIP membership.  I include it as a cost of doing business, and now I can see everything ;-)

And spend waaaaay too much time getting turned on by reading reviews......
