Suggestion and Policy

The review acceptance policy is unbelievably stupid

From time to time TER chooses not to post reviews from users with limited history for providers with no other reviews. Once the provider receives more reviews your review can be resubmitted for approval.

Besides wasting my time filling out the form and typing out a solid review. I've been a member for over 2 years, so just because I've never reviewed anyone, my review was rejected? It makes no sense, I saw another provider that looked nothing like what her ad said she looked like. So I can't share that with the TER community because she doesn't have any reviews yet? What difference does it make whether I review someone that doesn't have any reviews vs someone that already does

TER is constantly bombarded by phony reviews, and most of these from first time reviewers trying to help out someone whom they haven't seen, or trying to get free VIP.

So, TER has to do things that penalize honest reviewers as well as the guilty.

If you have an idea as to better sort out the two, so much the better.

For example, do you have a good posting history?  Maybe that should count as giving you a heads up to get your review published.

Thanks for expressing this, in any case.

Any seasoned hobbyist understands that a first time reviewer doing a review for a previously non-reviewed provider is suspicious.  Let the buyer beware and be the judge.

So to get this straight, if a provider wants a review she better being seeing guys with a review history?  I don't recall this rule published anywhere so I suspect there is more to it despite what reason he was given.

There have been several threads very recently here about first time reviewers posting first reviews.
It happens all the time, and several here have made requests that it stop happening. Now this OP is asking for the opposite. I think there is more to his story.

Previous threads asking for the opposite of this thread OP:

which is tying up valuable TER resources.

TER needs to bump up to a minimum of 4 reviews in a 60 day period before a free 30 day VIP is granted. that will dramatically reduce the number of fake reviews.

with TER keeping the number of reviews at 2 to gain free VIP is inviting dishonest reviewers in droves.
