Disconcerting Text from "TER Mod"

I received several text messages from the phone number: NUMBER REMOVED PER FORUM POLICIES today, and am very off put by how this supposed MOD handled our conversation. If you could please verify for me that this person is in fact compiling a "top ten providers" list, and that the winners will receive $100, I would appreciate it. I am transcribing the conversation for you exactly as it occurred below. I feel that I was threatened (by him telling me he controls all of CT reviews, funny since i am listed on here under MA and only recently started working in CT) in order to persuade me to follow his steps to "enter the interview process" after I asked him for some proof it was legit. I was never provided with a TER ID, name, email, anything. Thank you for your help and advice on how to handle this. If this is not the right forum for this post, please let me know where to post and I will correct asap. CONVERSATIONHIM: TER. Has asked me to compile a list of top 10 providers in the state of Connecticut. NBA short interview and questions asked and the top 10 gets listed on the site and free advertisement for a year. You were highly recommended by users. Would you be willing to enter the contest? ME: sure, that sounds great : ) HIM: Okay I will text details later on tonight ME: Great : ) HIM: First we hve to prove you are a legitimate provider. Please send pictures with today's date and the word "top 10" so I know this is your. Then we can proceed. HIM: Can you do that? HIM: The cash for top 10 will be paid 100$ by TER ME:Can you email me some sort of official entry form or another from TER at [email protected] first then I will reply with pics HIM: It's not an entry form. I'm doing my job as moderator. This isn't some raffle. This is my job. And the websites way of rewarding the best providers and blocking the fake ones. HIM: It's all about advertisement and in this line of work confidentiality. HIM: I can show you my work if you get to the interview process HIM: Your call. I won't ask again. I have tons of girls who are getting back to me. ME: Yeah thank you but I am not comfortable proving my line of profession to a stranger who gets terse with me for asking for reassurance that this is legit. HIM: I'm not tense? I just don't need to send anything. I'm making a top 10 list. No biggie. : ) No hard feelings. HIM: I control all the reviews for Ct including yours if they're any on TER. We may post your ads as fake if I don't get assurance you're legit. ME: That sounds like a threat, should I take it as one? It can be difficult to read tone via text so I apologize if I am taking that wrong. (after seeing threat to say I am fake) ME: Wow, ok I will be happy to email TER right now to report this conversation, they can ask me for proof and I will happily provide, I am well reviewed on other sites as well as verified through the. So, it is absurd my identity would be in question. HIM: I would never threaten anyone! So sorry if it came out like that. I was just saying some assurance that you're not a catfish may help. So many ads are fake as I'm sure you can tell. I'm trying to find out if you are the same person as your pictures can you please help me out? ME: I am sorry but i am no longer comfortable with this conversation I have a solid regular base and you are free to contact my numerous reviewers for verification that I am real. If you are a TER mod, that shouldn't be difficult information to access. HIM: Okay. Thank you for your time.
Some asswipe is trying to get free sessions, or trying to get persobal info to stalk or blackmail ladies, or at the least trying to get pictures to jerk off to! I'm surprised you let the conversation get as far as it did. The proper response would have been to use the "contact us" button, or email [email protected], and forward the communication to them. Granted they do read this board so posting here may get the message across, but you can't post personal info (phone numbers, email addresses etc.) on a public board. Perhaps you should post the general info (without the identifying details) on your regional board and the PO board (if you are on there) so other ladies know this asshole is out there. Hardly anyone reads this S&P board. If your intent to post here was to let admin know about this jerk, it would have been faster to just email them.
In any case, TER does not even have "mods" anymore, and when they did, their jobs were to moderate discussion boards, and nothing more. Nobody "controls" all the reviews for any area. TER would not do such a contest, and if they did the announcement would have came from a TER official email or PM, or public announcement on a board or home screen,not a text message from a random stranger
