I know this has been mentioned repeatedly, but I'm feeling the need to suggest it myself. The majority of people whose posts I'd like never to even accidentally read again, use aliases. Obviously, this is partly the reason some folks use aliases: so unsuspecting eyes will stumble across their subject-lines! This is just my opinion, of course, but I think it would be lovely to have that come to an end. Oh, and it also seems that even if I've already clicked, "Ignore User" to a member's non-alias profile, that he/she can still PM me using his alias? I'd really love for that, at least, to be changed. If either would be terribly difficult and/or expensive from a tech view, that's not my intention. I just don't know anything about that, and what IS or ISN'T feasible. So please excuse any ignorance on my part! Thank you. xoxooxoxxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxo
There are a few members whose sole intention is to inflame, they become so toxic with their postings that folks just rather not participate.
I would go one step further with the request, that if I Ignore them, that the system not only ignores the alias, but the entire account. This way if they change their alias, the system automatically ignores that as well.

But then I realized that it would then be possible to discover whose alias was whose, via a process of elimination. xoxoxoxooxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxxooxxooxoxox
We have one of these individuals on my local board. They think they're cleaver, it would appear that they have two different accounts since TER rules prohibit using two alias on the same thread. But their writing style is the same and regardless of which name they choose, they have a particular lady that has drawn their ire.
I'm not interested in discovering who they are, just don't want to deal with any of the drama they stir up on the board.
