I see that Lucious Laurel has posted (in the LA board) about suspected fake reviews, both of the neutral and positive varieties.  Obviously, this is occuring.Figuring out what is fake and what is not is a difficult if not impossible process.  There are cases like Laurel's where it can be done, but my guess is that only represents a small percentage.  Certainly, for the ripoff reviews, this cannot be done at all.How can this be discouraged?

Use the "Problem" button when you see a review that is wrong. It works well.

Not to be a smartass, but you could try reading my post before replying to it.  I specifically said that spotting fake reviews is pretty difficult, especialy for ripoff or dance-and-dash providers.  How the hell would you know how to spot a fake review?  I was just wondering if anybody had any ideas on how that could be discouraged; it wasn't a specific complaint.

We are not being smartasses. If a questionable review gets through, prople are really doing a good job of reporting it. If a person submits a number oof these reviews, they are not allowed to post reviews.Any other suggestions are welcome.

When I make a comment like "not to be a smartass, but...", it means that I am saying "I am not intending to be a smartass here".  It is not me accusing you of being a smartass.  Is it that hard to comprehend my writing?My point is that it is VERY easy to fake a review of a "dance and dash" provider (such as Bridgette of San Diego), to the point that nobody will question it.  I was simply asking other people that read this board (not necessarily you only) to suggest ways one could prevent this.  It appears that nobody really seems to care that much about, so classifify this under the "forget about it" category.
