Please update especially the Regional Ad Boards so that every state has a section.
There should be a Georgia board not an Atlanta board. There should be a Texas board, not Dallas and Houston There should be an Illinois board, not just Chicago California should have it's own board not just a couple of cities.
There are missing states like Mississippi, Alabama, Utah, Oregon et cetera.....
The Other Cities boards should be the LEAST active. There should be a proper place to post for everyone, not just a smattering of big name cities. If you want more participants and revenue, then give everybody their proper place to participate!
Texas & California are so HUGE they need to be broken up by big hobby cities. There is NO real hobby area outside the Chicago area, so an Illonois board isn't needed. Lastly, many states have so LITTLE hobby activity, and are fairly rural, that they don't need or deserve a board.
I have lived and worked in Southern IL and yes there is enough hobby activity outside of Chicago. I have lived and worked in Tampa FL where we know the FL board is very very active. I now live and work in podunk you never heard of rural right on the AL/GA border and there IS hobby activity. Of course it won't be like NY or LA, but you surely aren't ever going to cultivate activity when everybody is thrown on the "Other Cities" board! I am also near Columbus GA and yes there is hobby activity outside of Atlanta!
I don't think the "Other Cities" category should exist. Everybody should have their area. And of course the larger states could/should have subcategories.
Big business is moving into small town rural areas so you just may find yourself in small town rural area on a business trip and you get the itch to hobby and you have to use BP because there's not much else.
It will be very difficult to get the ladies to pay for an ad that will be thrown on the "Other Cities" board. Most all the other major ad/review/referral sites and escort malls recognize all areas. I certainly wouldn't pay for "Other Cities" advertising......just thinking out loud.
I don't think I'm wrong when I say providers don't pay for the ads on the regional ad boards. Unless they pay for VIP membership they don't pay anything at all to have access to their reviews, to the TER PM system, and to place a once in every 7 days ad on the ad board. If they do pay for VIP then they receive the same benefits as any other member.
I can't comment on the need for more boards but the pay thing is inaccurate in regard to ads.
They point to the creation of the ad boards as the first step in doing so. It is this theory that fallonkelly was referring to. Thus her intro "And looking to the future......". She wasn't talking about as of now, but when the time comes that TER may start charging for advertising.
She isn't alone in thinking TER is heading that way. See link below. Please note how every lady how responded, also thought that in time that is where TER is heading. Are they right? Only the TER gods know and they are not talking.
Read again, the title SAYS Looking To the Future.....
Many speculate, let me emphasize speculate, that this is the reason TER separated the ads from the regional boards so in order to make it easier to charge for ads in the future.
In the event BP does get shut down, it would be a wise move on the part of any ad board to align themselves into a position to begin charging for ads should they so desire.
were actually here for a civil discussion and not to troll, flame, and bash someone just because they can hide behind a cowardly alias for no other reason but to do so.
I saw the "future" title but thought it in reference to BP going away and didn't relate it to TER making changes in the future and possibly charging for the ads. I had read the thread Scoed mentions when it was going. Just didn't put the two together.
Looking at the California area, the ads of the Ontario, Riverside, Palm Springs, Gold Coast and Sacramento would be put into the "other cities" board.
One idea is to develop a user interface with the image of the United States. Place linkable dots for all the major cities of The United States and also place linkable State Names. the City links would go to that city's ad board, the linkable State name could go for all other areas in that state. Something for TER to consider in the future.
Dear FallonKelly: Although this would be a national board, I was wondering would you get better coverage and response on a board like Southern GFE for Midwest and Southern states. Also what boards would have good regional outlets for the outpost that might not be that well populated but still have significant activity in the hobby? I was wondering was escorts.com an asset to you when it was around since that was ideal for smaller markets?
