...I really think that chats would be used around the clock, or at least more regularly (even between "featured" guests") if the software had more functionality.  The chat software being used is the most low-tech, no frills I've ever seen. It's just not fun to chat on it.  The Chatspace software (TBD uses it) is far better, and can also be accessed by MIRC clients.  I think you'd see more action on chat if the technology was better. Sure, there might be some who have firewall issues connecting to a better package, but I think the trade off of having a much richer chat environment would be worth it.
