This is for David, aka staff, or any other qualified individual who cares to respond:
For those of you who know me, you know that I was a fairly regular contributor for an appreciable period of time. Unfortunately, lately, I have been unable to do so for various reasons not relevant to our discussion here.
Anyway, for whatever reason, I became nostalgic, and decide to look at some of my previous postings, and the responses they generated. I looked on the General Discussion, and the Los Angeles boards, as those are the ones that I frequented most often. In both instances, I inserted my username, and set the search perameteters as far back as five years, and worked my way forward, I also checked the "include text" box. I couldn't come up with a thing. I have conducted searches in the past, and always yielded a result of some kind. This leads me to ask the following question. Has TER adopted a policy, of not archiving, and deleting past postings, or have I neglected to do something?
Furthermore, I have never, at least not to my knowledge been reprimanded, or had my writing removwed for inapporpriate langauge, or behavior.
If anyone can shed some light on this, I would be apprciative.
what I think is happening is that there is a limit to what is accepted in the day range fields of the search. I suspect that numbers greater than 1000 are not taken.
If you do a search on your name from 1500 to 1000 days you get nothing on the General board. 1000 days to 500 days yields alot.
