I'm tired of reading the same BS political nonsense on the General Board. I don't care whether posters are conservative or liberal, it's tiring and somewhat irritating.

The recent Dixie Chicks thread as an example. That thread is way out of hand now, nearly consuming a full page.

I would rather see a "no politics" policy for the general
discussion board (all TER boards for that matter).  If people
want to talk politics, they can go elsewhere.

Um, Yuck.  I don't like politics also, I really would not like to see a board dedicated to it.

Give the political types a dedicated forum to post on and clear the whacko right & left wing nonsense out of the General board.

My wheel mouse works ok also, but my finger still gets tired.

There are always someone with strong opinions ready to turn a discussion into a semi-argument.  (I admit I have been responsible for that at times. )

Setting up a separate political board is not a bad idea.  Not sure it would serve the purpose though.
