A few days ago Staff responded to a discussion board post about the posting of a review of a three-way (with Grace and Selena -- I forget the reviewer's handle, sorry) to say that they were thinking about a good way to handle such reviews. Why not three separate profiles: 1) "Grace", 2) "Selena", and 3) "Grace & Selena"? Obviously, a search on provider name "Grace" would bring up both "Grace" and "Grace & Selena" in the search. One problem is that if somebody searched for "Selena & Grace" they wouldn't find "Grace & Selena". Another problem would be to avoid ending up with a "Grace & Selena" profile and a "Selena & Grace" profile. One possible solution would be to require the names to be in alphabetical order. I assume a search on "&" in the name field would bring up all three-ways.This use of two names separated by an ampersand is already done with providers who work with a male partner, e.g., "Samantha/Melonie & Michael". I believe that Samantha sees clients by herself as well as working with a male partner. If so, I would suggest she should also have a profile to herself as well as the one she shares with Michael. Some providers work with various partners. "Wow Nikki & Felicia Foxx", "Wow Nikki & Sensual Ashley", and (I am told) "Wow Nikki & Discreetly Lauren". I think all of these deserve separate profiles (as well as being separate from the profiles for the individual providers). I have been in 3 separate 3-ways with Wow Nikki and each time the second provider was different. Each of the combinations had a different "personality". If I wrote reviews (which I don't) I think that the one review per provider policy should not prevent me from reviewing each of the 3-ways. They were all great, but the interaction was surprising different as the cast of characters changed.
This sounds like it will work. We were talking about how to do this over the lat couple of days and had decided to add a profile for a pair of providers. This will work within our current structure and keep the searches vary speedy.I will talk to the review people and get this started if we do have any other ideas.
Since I haven't submitted any reviews I haven't looked at the form used, but I assume that it mirrors the one displayed when you view a profile. In a review of a three-way (e.g., "Grace & Selena") there is a real question about what to do with the Appearance fields. You could leave the Appearance fields blank and make it a convention that the viewer refer to the individual profiles (e.g., "Grace" and "Selena") but this assumes that the individual profiles already exist. It is, of course, possible that the three-way review is the first review for one or both of the providers. Having two sets of Appearance fields (and an associated Name field with each set) is probably the ideal solution, but I don't know how easy that is to do with your current software.A less ideal alternative is to force the reviewer to pick and describe just one of the providers. In this case there should still be an associated Name field so the reader can tell which provider is being described (without having to dig in the comments in the hope that the reviewer remembered to say).I think the Services Offered fields work pretty well as currently constituted if the convention is adopted that No means neither provides the service and Yes means one or both provides the service. The reviewer can always use the comments to clarify further if he feels that is necessary. (I guess the Two Girls field is redundant in a review of a 3-way.)It is probably also desirable to clarify who the contact information (in the General Info fields) is for. In the case of Grace and Selena that isn't a problem because they both share the same e-mail address. However, in other cases the information is useful to the reader. In my 3-way with Felicia Foxx and Wow Nikki it was Felicia who set it up. I had never met Nikki before that evening. In my second three-way with Nikki it was Nikki who set it up. In the three-way with Wow Nikki and Sensual Ashley I knew from a post on this board that they knew each other and contacted both by e-mail to set it up. That would probably have to be explained in comments, but in the first two cases a "who did you call (or e-mail) for this" field would be valuable -- in some cases only one of the two providers can be contacted directly.Hope some of this thinking while I type is of use.
I will only address the search issue at this point.I think the search input should be parsed out to individual elements and the whole string "or"-ed (excluding "&" "and" etc) so that a search on "Nikki and Ashley" would retrun all instances of reviews where "Nikki" or "Ashley" is in the provider name field.Of course you will get the individual reviews returned with the 3-way reviews, and you will get all Ashleys as well. However in real world application of this process the person doing the search is probably knows or knows of the ladies in question. Some other spots problematic would be a search on say "Nikki and Sensual Ashley" This would not only return all Nikki's and all Ashley's but all ladies having the word Sensual in their names.Additionally, if you exclude "and" and "&" in your search method this prevents someone using the search strin "& and" to find all 3-way pairings in the database.I am sure as I work on my databases the rest of the day I am going to come up with some other issues in this arena. I willtry to log them then post them at one time here.Good Luck!Lustman
I think that we will take the easy route on this one. Once we complete the review section update, we will simply allow reviews of a couple in the system that we will have. If you search on one name, the individual and joint review will come up. The same thing will happen for a phone number search.
