A while back, someone from TER indicated that...

the reason for putting the reviewer through the process of entering all this information is because it is a way of screening out people who are non-serious reviewers.  (Supposedly the hassle of doing all the entry would turn off a bogus or casual reviewer.)

I'm not sure if I buy that but that has been the system and always will it appears.

What I would like to see is a way of viewing the information entered by each reviewer to see what the majority of guys thought about each individual aspect of the session, and also to see if there is a trend developing with the provider.  I mean TER has the information there.  Why not reveal it?

It's rather cumbersome to enter all the info on providers who are already in the system.  All the profile fields have to be filled in, but in reality TER doesn't update their info based on what I enter anyway, a problem report is required to get anything changed.  So the page forces me to enter a lot of fields that are just being ignored.

If the freeform textbox for the provider's name could be changed to a dropdown list, then I could simply select the provider I am reviewing, and then the code could populate the rest of the fields with the info that's already on file for her.  That would give me instant verfication that I have selected the correct provider, since it would show me all of her info.  Then I could change any items that I want to, and optimally, the code would use my changes to update her profile info in the database.  This would make the info current, rather than keeping the info that was entered possibly years ago when the first review was posted on her.

I agree, it's hard to believe that this is intended functionality.
At the very least, as long as they're having us input the info, they should use that info to update the profile.

I don't think the last reviewer is more reliable or trustworthy.  In fact the opposite.  Imagine the fun folks would have messing up provider's profiles by entering reviews with wrong information.

Being able to see summary of reviews or individual's entries would be much better for all.
