My suggestion is for the powers here to do one of two things:

Either change the icon from a mailbox to maybe a VIP symbol with a red X through it...

Or, allow non VIP members to read posts but not be able to reply to them.

These boards are great but why should we, paid VIP members, give information out to non members that are too cheap to chip in $20 a month????????
It is a total waste of time and there is no way now to know if the poster is a member or not.

I also thing that either policy change would bring in more money for the site and of course pay whoever has to make the software changes. If you don't have the expertise to do it, I would gladly offer my services. I have three forums running now so I know I can edit the software you are using.

Maybe others here can also weight in on this.

Sorry for this rant but I can't help being a little frustrated as I am sure others here also are!
