I've noticed that although there is a generic set of rules that attempt to describe what's acceptable and not acceptable on the message boards, it seems that each board also has it's own unique set of rules that are based on the moderators beliefs of how things should be.  The problem here is that the mod specific rules aren't published anywhere nor are they permanent where users of the board can refer to them.

Still, some mods interpret the generic set of rules differently.  What is considered "rude posting" by one mod, is considered fine for another mod.  The challege here is that innocent posters can easily get caught up on offending the mod of a particular board simply because he/she doesn't know what the rules of board are.

Suggest each board have a permanent page where the admin generated rules AND the mod generated rules are kept in an easily available way for all to see.

I have been around and seen a few different mods come and go.  Every time we get a new one the rules change.

It is really a pain for EVERYONE, especially to us ladies that travel, to keep track of these different rules.

Personally, I wish ter would put all the mods together and come to a census on acceptable and not acceptable.  Ex..the theme threads have different rules for different boards.  Florida board the guys are allowed to post to the ladies photos however on Atlanta they are not.

It would make all of us feel that everyone is being treated fairly and then no room for arguments.
