Ndamukong Suh's appeal of a two-game suspension for stomping Green Bay's Evan Dietrich-Smith has been denied.

NFL on-field appeals officer Art Shell notified Suh and the Detroit Lions of his decision to uphold the two-game suspension levied by NFL vice president Merton Hanks.

Suh is suspended for the Lions' next two games and will be reinstated to the active roster on Dec. 12.
