Best served with a cold Dixie beer (shame the hurricane killed that brewery).  Atlanta is playing good this year and I hope that the Saints can kick their ass.

On the NFL site the Patriots and Falcons both have an 11 and 2 record. I've been following the Brady/Belicheck show and was aware they were 11 and 2 but not Atlanta.

They played the Steelers close,  beat NO, Tampa Bay twice and the Ravens and Packers.
Yea, they lost to the Eagles 31 to 17 and that was against Kolb as OB. But still and all 11 and 2 and they could easily finish 13 and 3 or maybe even 14 and 2. I said maybe "Who Dat".

They can't be as good as the Steelers, Ravens or Pats can they. Week 16 they play the Saints again, beat them once, could happen, possible; nah.

Damn the Falcons can put some points on the board. Wouldn't it be nice to have a contending team in that part of the country. Go nice with grits and red eye gravey, and if you haven't had it you don't know what you missing.

Miss grits and red eye gravey and the Gold Club. Someone said it was closed.

and at -6 and an OU of 36 Pitt doesn't look like a bad bet either. Pitt may have to score all 36 to cover the over though. lol

but that won't stop me from losing money. lol

Of course with all the beautiful paisas around to fuck, losing a few bucks won't be enough to wipe the smile off my face.

The mark of any good team is being able to win close games. Atlanta has done that throughout the season. They beat the Ravens/Packers in the closing seconds, survived the Saints in the OT and made a great goal line stand in the final two minutes to defeat the Bucs. Ironically, their only two losses were against back-up QB's (Kolb and the Eagles and Dennis Dixon and the Steelers)

If Atlanta gets homefield throughout the playoffs, they have a great shot to go to the SuperBowl. Over the past three years they have a tremendous home record so obviously getting the #1 seed will be critical. The game against New Orleans in two weeks should be a classic and will be crucial to either teams post season aspirations

At this point, I still like the Saints to go back to the SuperBowl. Their offense is clicking and they should have enough defense to slow down the Falcons or Eagles. I don't see the Giants or Bears having the ability to score a lot of points to compete with the other three teams (especially if the games are inside a dome, such as Atlanta or New Orleans). The NFC West winner is a post season afterthought

In the AFC, its looking the Pats will get home field throughout...good luck to the rest of the conference! The Patriots rarely loose home playoff games (last year's Ravens debacle may have been Brady's first home playoff loss in his career...and he was playing injured).

Great slew of games this weekend...Hardy will be in Pittsburgh watching his beloved Steelers battle the Jets (and hopefully send them to a third straight defeat!!)

The Dixie Brewery was ransacked and the cyprus vats were pillaged along with most of the equipment.  The other victim was Nick Castrogiovanni's Big Train Bar which was across the street.  That was a great place back in college.

There is a chance there could be three teams form that division in the post season.  We shall see

and we now drink Abita, I prefer either TurboDog or the Blackend VoDoo lager.

Storms?  every thirty years of so they are a given.  Floded out the area in the 30's and Betsy in 63 I think.

I sure as hell hope the Saints win against the Falcons but that is a tough game to call and they don't do well against Atlanta.

beer brewery was another casualty of Katrina-it had a distinct 'green' flavor to it-Your Saints appear to be jelling now and playing well-The Bucs lost two heartbreakers to the Falcons, who appear ripe for the picking-Good luck-

about you damn grits and shrimp. I don't want to hear about any food from Louisiana. I got to thinking about red eye gravy and I don't have any capacity  to think about red fish and beans, gumbo or those bengays[sp]. Who Dat, that's exactly why Mother Nature slaps you upside the head with a hurricane once in a while, to remind you, you're not in heaven yet. So sorry to hear you have to drink Budweiser like the rest of us. I'm 50 fifty on the Saints Falcon game, but with two guesses I can probably come up with your choice.

The Patriots and Steelers, Hardy why in the world would you pick a lousy game to see with all the good matchup this week. LMAO You could go to the Browns, Bengals game or Redskins, Cowboys that one would be closer to New York. And then you wouldn't have to watch that lumbering sack of potatoes  stumble around the backfield on a broken foot trying to make a completed pass.

Well may not Hardy but , pretty sure the Skins will have one fan hoping for a little redemption this weekend. It should actually be a good game 1rob. Unfortunately both teams are playing for nothing but bragging rights over a few bones. But if Skin fan want to win any game it's probably this one.

You know, I may have to go to "Plan B" with Cassel out and I don't think he is playing this week. Plan B has always been an UTR team with a middling quarterback named Brody, Bridy, no Brady, that's it. He can actually run and he looks like an athlete when he occasionally performs this feat. I'll save you the post Hardy; ( If he does run, he will be running for his life this weekend). There you go. Hey, try your best to have a great time at the game.

Well GAgambler, I don't know about you but, I can't see any way I can pick a winning card this week. I don't have the luxury of not betting. If my card isn't in, they all are set to ties. And if there is a tie, no matter who I picked for that game, I lose. What's up with that. I think the Chargers can probably win against the 49ers and the Chiefs will probably lose, but everyone else is a coin toss. Best course of action may be to bet all my money and skip town. LMFAO
