Beating Dallas does not prove a case for any team to be called 'good/great'!
The one thing I agree with 'the Hyena' (Collingsworth) on is that Dallas is a 'spoiler' right now.
Since the Washington win, the Eages have shown they are not ready for prime time.
Want proof?!?
Watch the Eagles/Chicago game and then look what the Patriots did to Chicago earlier today!!
And Vick, while playing ok, will not play well against the better NFL teams/defenses come playoff time (if they even make it that far and he survives!).
I've said it before and I'll say it again, his running ability will be his undoing/downfall!

As far as Vick being the MVP, I have this response: TAKE YOUR MEDS, NUTJOB!!!
Everyone with a single digit football IQ knows who that title belongs to and the funny thing is, he really doesn't want it/care about it!!
This is a team game/sport and any trophy/accolade/praise that does not include the Lombardi Trophy is insignificant!!!

I "having got laid in a,yr", the felon has a breakout game against an ill-prepared team and beat the Giants.
What was I thinking?!? (V8 whack to my head)
We don't even need to play anymore games!
GIVE HIM THE TROPHY!!!

Someone smarter than me told me early in my life, "Better to keep your mouth closed and be thought a fool than to open it and remove all doubt"!!

I'd disagree with that. Dallas is playing good football since dropping Wade. Chicago beat Vick by making him go to his right all night and stopping the eagles running game. The pats beat the bears by spreading them out. Philly doesn't have enough weapons to spread them out, which would make them near unbeatable with Vicks legs.

Pats are playing great football. No doubt about that. Let's wait and see what happens when they play a team that can hit them back in the mouth offensively AND have the speed on defense to deal with there spread. Pats-Saints anyone???

McCoy, Celek, Jackson, Maclin, Avant........and these are the just the starters!!
Vick has plenty of weapons to spread the field, he just isn't that kind of QB.
He has tunnel vision when it comes to this; looks for his primary/possibly a secondary then runs.
Which btw, will be his undoing; these defensive lineman hits are really gonna hurt him one of these times!!

Brady has Welker, Branch, (2 rookie TE's) Hernandez, Gronkowski, Danny Woodhead (practice squad player extraordinaire!!) and undrafted Benjarvis Green-Ellis out of the backfield!
How is it that Brady can do what he does and MV can't with virtually the same weapons you ask?!?
Simple: 3 Superbowl rings, 2 Superbowl MVP's (shoulda been 3), (soon to be 2) League MVP's and just the simple fact he is a much better QB who makes more correct decisions with the ball!!

Let me phrase this another way for you. You're right in your assessment based on my wording...and that's my fault. The patriots do what they do. It doesn't matter if you and I were out there, they would spread it out. Theyve been doing it since Brady took over. The Eagles don't do that. They CAN do that, but they don't. Patriots take what they're given and march down field. The Eagles don't. They're a big play team almost predominantly. Not that the patriots aren't big play guys...but they don't have to. Brady is certainly a better QB than Vick...but that doesn't make Vick a bad QB. Since he's actually learning the craft, he's actually really good. Let's not make it like Vick is not a legit MVP candidate. Proofs in the pudding and it doesn't care about the past or pitbulls. I think Brady wins MVP unless Vick goes gangbusters the last three games and even then we're probably talking co-MVP.

I'll say this though. Some of the hits Vick took this week would've been penalties if it were Brady. And I respect the hell out of the guy, but it's the truth.

to wait for a Pats Saints game, if there is one this year. I think Saints and Ravens and Saints Falcon may tell us a lot.

I don't see that NE has a character builder game left untill the playoffs.

(typically) it really doesn't matter what current team W/L records are.
Miami and Buffalo are notorious for playing extremely well against the (Brady/Belichick) Patriots!
TB/BB will be the 1st to tell you that and 10+ years of watching their press coverage give me/us a pretty good idea of when their feeding egos (and not).
I'm more worried about them than the GB defense (and that's a great defense)!
