Lets see how many weeks it takes to have Prince Danny Synder confront Shanahan and Allen over the poor record of the Redskins.
You can set your clock to it. Its gonna happen...The Skins are truly a medicure team (at best) despite what puff piece blather the locals are fed. No one will tell Danny that so he will do what he always does after a time of stewing in his juices.
Stick his nose into something time has shown he truly knows nothing about: Running a professional sports team.
Honestly I wish someone could tell me why anyone one would spend a dime on this bunch of overpaid young and middleaged men to play a game not very well. Over and over and over again.
This is truly hope and change taken to another level.

who is playing out of his mind, the Packers who are one of elite teams, and Peyton, who is still the best. That will but them at 1-6 and instead of fawning the Washington press will start asking the tough questions like - why run a 3-4 defense when you are last in the league in defense?

Meanwhile, they are paying Albert 21 million for this season alone and his production is NIL.

Truth be told Snyder got lucky with one business - his medical advertising business and made a fortune. But his other business moves - the staggering money he spends on washed up super stars - his purchase of Six Flags - which filed for bankruptcy soon after he bought it - and REd Zone captial - his private equity fund which has consistently trailed the market - have been disasters.

How in the world did they beat Dallas?

As to the Dallas game, well Richie Pettibon beat them the first game in 1993 and we know how that turned out.
On the issue of Synders' financial empire, he wins some and loses some thats for sure.
His investment in the Skins has been a huge winner though. Despite his mismanagement of the football team, his ruthless managment of the business is comparable to Gordon Geekos' romp through Wall Street. He has made a fortune with constant promotion and in ways Jack Kent Cooke would never have condoned.
On the issure of Fat Albert, now cut the poor guy some slack. He misundertsood Danny. Albert thought he was signing a retirement package and he has certainly kept his side of the bargin dont you think?

As a lifelong Steeler fan, thankfully I have never witnessed a tempetuous owner who feels the need to throw himself in the middle of the football operations of his team. I have been blessed to root for one of the model franchises in the league.

Shanahan brings with a winning reputation (although it may be a tad overrated as he's only won one playoff game in the past decade) and Allen is well thought of around the league. But remember, it will take some time for them to get the type of player they want on the roster to fit their football system. It is only year one, game three. As they say, Rome was not built in a day

At the end of the day it is Daniel Snyder's team. He has made a HUGE investment in the franchise and expects results. I think he will have a little more patience with this team, (given the new regime) but how much more patience remains to be seen.

I do agree at this stage the Skins are prob. an average football team. They play in the ultra competitive NFC East, so making the playoffs will not be easy.
