A lot of good sports on today; World Cup Soccer, Wimbledon, and others. But, a great MMA champion is fighting tonight, Fedor Emelianenko. I really like watching him fight. There is no grandstanding, or posturing, or wild shows of triumph. He just calmly goes out, and, usually quite quickly, sticks it to his opponent, turns around and graciously accepts the victory. Great fighting and great sportsmanship demonstrated.

How did Fedor do?

It will be interesting to see if he fights again. That was his first defeat, but he's getting up there in years as far as MMA fighters go. He learned that, though you think you might have knocked someone down, and they may be hurt, you got to be extremely careful when going in and punching them on the ground, when approaching over the top and between their knees, particularly with someone who knows Brazilian Jujitsu. That's when he got caught in an arm bar.
