I loved the way that Artest could commit bloody murder and never get called for fouls. Garnett blows by a flat-footed Gasol for easy points. Then when Gasol started to hack he never once was called. Instead when Gasol tries a shot attempt, he screams like he is getting greeked by Lexington Steele and FOUL-2-shots, Foul-2-shots, Foul-2-shots. The clincher was when Gasol traveled by coming back down with it but threw it back up and in. Clearly a travel and a suspect 2 points in a clutch moment (2 minutes left of a 3 point ballgame). Luck? Missed Call? Blatant Cheating? One thing is for certain is that the basket should not have counted and instead of a chance to tie. It turned out to become a two posession game with less than 2 minutes.

Just look at the discrepency in freethrows. If you think the game was called evenly then that is your opinion. Unfortunately, for the game of Basketball that I love, it was not. Congrats to the victors David Stern and Phil Jackson. Thank God the Kobe Show, commercials, and all the hoopla leading up to it is off the air until next spring.
