see the viking are eventually set on signing
brett favre. how come they did not go after cutler? was the price too high?
Cutler is not even making top 5 quarteback money.
(14-million and up -per season)
I'm sure favre is going to command 12 million per.
minnesota, what the hell is wrong with ya?

Only reason I could think is because they are sure they are going to get Farve.  But if Farve's injuries are to deep, they aren't taking him.  And seriously, do you want some one who is that far past their prime???

I think poor Farve should let it go.  He wants that championship so bad he can taste it.  He wants to be like Jerome Betis and go out with a bang.  Superbowl win then done for good.  He just can't seem to do it.

The vikings would have loved cutler im sure. The first problem with pursuing him was they did not have a qb worth anything to send back Kyle orton may not have been great but he is way better than Jackson.   2nd problem is they burned a lot of draft picks getting Jared Allen the year before.   Vikes just did not have what the broncos were looking for

to start pursuing Jay when his new coach made it public he was interested in another QB (Cassell)
But bottom line was they didn't have enough in trade bait to offer and when cutler started demanding to be traded they backed off because they couldn't offer enough at QB and they decided they didnt like the attitudes from both camps (Cutler and McLoser)
Im a Minn Native and Went to college in CO

The Broncos certainly demanded Adrian Peterson in return. Would you rob Peter to pay Paul?
