He had one good 1/2 season and with his knees I do not think he had the skills in the first place. I think that if its amither sucker that is willing to do a Gasol/Kwame Brown trade, he will remain a laker.  Sidenote, has anyone ever investigated that trade?  If LA would have won, I think so.

Both Odom and Ariza are unrestricted free agents. The Lakers are also over the cap. Talk is they sign Ariza or Odom, not both. Problem is the Lakers signed Bynum, Vujacic and Walton to long-term contracts.

Bynum is still a work in progress. He actually played very little in high school, plus one could question if he is injury prone. Nevertheless, he is a big body with some skills. Not many of them in the NBA these days. And even at 20 minutes a game, he makes the Lakers bigger, stronger and longer than any other NBA team.

Golden State Warriors or any other team would have given the Grizziles, higher number ones than two late first round choices. BOGUS!

Jerry West the GM for the Grizziles is the highest paid on the NBA and has helped the Lakers more than Memphis.

Then again, the Lakers always get what they want. Which player did the Lakers trade to select Cleveland's number one that was used to pick Magic Johnson. Yea, I hate LA, but I am not bitter.

You would gladly take it if it was your team.  I do admit I couldn't believe it myself however.  I saw a headline somewhere that said "Free Gas!".  That was funny.  What's even funnier is how all the other teams reacted in a hurry!  Only to make things worse lol.

but you are right, as much as I hate them, you have to hand it to the Lakers for making the steal of a lifetime.

Of course, it doesn't hurt when you are the NBA's golden team.  Shaq wanted to play there...and he went there.  Kareem went to UCLA...and there you go. Gasol gets a chance to go from the NBA purgatory of Memphis to LA?  Couldn't get on a plane fast enough.

I hate the Lakers.

they would really help the NBA in the ratings department.  It's sad to see what happened to the Knicks.  Dolan is a complete idiot!

After the injury this season, Andrew never really got back in shape.  If he can do that, he'll be ever so valuable.  Just don't play him against Memphis, lol.
