Manny being Manny

Anybody see the Dodgers-Mets game/hi-lites from last night? Manny Ramirez was in top form. He struck out in the first inning on a questionable pitch, then was called out on strikes later on. Replays showed the pitch being 3-4 inches off the plate, but Manny acted with typical class. He threw his bat and batting helmet, then, as he was walking to the outfield, threw his arm pad back over his shoulder. The umpire heard it hit the ground, and ejected Manny. Hilarious!!  Yeah, it was a lousy call, but grow up, take it like a man, and stay in the game!!!

Saw him at Petco Park against the Padres over the Fourth weekend.  The crowds were yelling "Doper, get a life!" Maybe they should have yelled,.."Asshole, get a life!"

He's just a spoiled rotten dumb-ass. But, man he can hit the horse-hide!

the Dodgers were doing so poorly without him...

..doing his AAA rehab stint, I had tix for his last night here, when he was scheduled to play the whole game.  Well, we had a couple brief showers pass thru which delayed the start less than an hour.  Now we have a first-class field and it drains quickly, but the Dodgers decided he wouldn't play at all at the risk of him getting injured on the wet grass.  BULL-CRAP!!

But it was ALL GOOD, as the player that replaced him accounted for 3 of our 4 runs in the win.

The guy is Busch-League!!  (He should go hang with Kyle!!)

... nice for your minor league teammates.  Randy Johnson bought dinner at a cost of 3k.  Roger Clemens paid for a new clubhouse.  Michael Jordan bought a new team bus (tho he used it too).

What did Manny do?  Nothing, nada, niente, zilch.
Class act all the way.

Hi, CY,
I agree-reminds me of the old McClellan quote re Abe Lincoln, "He's a first rate 2nd rate person." 8-)
