You guys will still be playing in October, The Braves can start their winter vacation in September. To add to my hometown misery, I now live in Dallas, Texas. The Rangers started their vacation in early June.
Fortunately I have no loyalties where it comes to betting. One of the few bright spots in my personal baseball season has been the pleasure I have gotten out of betting against the Rangers almost every night since early June.
He leads the league, doesn't he?? Yeah we have the arms to go a long way. Now if our bats can come through, especially when the bases are loaded, watch out. We're batting like .170 with the bases loaded...that will hurt us soon enough.
It was like the last year that Andruw played for us, in a situation like this all I could realistically hope for was for him to get hit by a fucking pitch.
Truth be told, I am surprised they even pitched to Freddie knowing that BJ was coming up behind him. Can you believe that the Braves are paying the two Uptons almost $30,000,000.00 this year?
The good thing about having the arms that you guys have is that all you need to do is have your bats peak at the right time. You can cruise into the playoffs even if your bats underperform, but you cant' even get to the playoffs without pitching. Unfortunately for the Braves this year, we really don't have either pitching or hitting working for us this year.
You guys have NO idea what is in store for you until you see A's play...I know you follow the standings and all, but to see them play against you is a whole different ball game..
Granted you will be hosting them at Turner field. We had to deal with those MoFos @ O.Co. But still. They are quite the threat !! I think Billy Beane has got this one figured out this year..

And Yes I know what's in store when we play the A's, I think it will start with us getting our ass kicked lol, but we still have a month and a half to catch up.
