The Dodgers are scheduled to make an announcement today concerning the future of Scully. If he retires, it will be the end of one of the greatest runs in the broadcasting booth. Scully has been one of the best. If he does retire, I wish him well and thank him for this contributions to baseball.

One of the great baseball voices ever! Used to love to listen to him on the NBC Game of The Week.

and listen to many play by play announcers.  Vin Scully is in a league of his own.

would go to the games and listen to him on the radio or a small TV. After a while never took the radio or TV, hell everyone in the section had one or the other. Always tells it like it is, good, bad or go to hell.

Can't understand why they don't have him call the WS games.
