It looks like the Vikings will play the Bears outdoors Monday night. Chances are that the MetroDome isn't going to be ready, so the game will be played at the University of Minnesota statium. They have to put in NFL hash marks and NFL goalposts, just a few of the hoops they have to jump through. There are currently snow drifts of up to 5 feet inside the stadium, and the stadium only seats 52,000 fans, while about 63,000 people already have tickets for the game. Fitting end to a disaster of a home season. Oh, and to make it even better, there's a chance that Favre might play.

Yea, Farve is starting a new streak. Looks like there will be 11,000 people without seats. Are those the luckly one or what? Now all it need to do is snow. LOL

NFL, you gotta love it!

The V-drama-queen plays then seating should not be a problen, my guess not more than 25,000 will show up.

Thank You
XLV = 4

Too many issues to deal with. Frozen solid field turf, tons of snow, no alcohol license, outdoor concession stands, winterized plumbing not designed to operate in current climate, overbooking a stadium by 13000 seats and the least goes on...

Best guess is by Friday or Saturday, game gets moved to Indianapolis.

Vikings org. is a mess right now, nobody seems to be in control. Too many poor, rash decisions with lack of foresight.

Injured Reserve, meaning he's done the for the year. So it's down to Joe Webb or Favre. Patrick Ramsey's name has been mentioned as being a possible short-term solution, but I can't see him being anything more than an emergency option.

Oh well, suffer on. It will end in a few days, months or years depending on how the stars line up, the weather and any number of untold factors.

No shit.  It is always interesting being a Viking fan,  but more like the north wind, it blows this year.
