But I understand Denver choosing Peyton over Tebow...

Peyton is the greatest player to ever play the game

I feel bad for him that he trust Sexy-Rexy and wasted one precious year, which can mean a lot of time in game like Football, with Jets.

Hopefully, he can add value to Patriots and they can add value to him...

beli-cheat decides to prove he is still the man ( when its easy to see he isn't anymore) and one up rex ryan ( not hard to do). rex had tim at punt protector, bill puts him at punt RETURNER. its genius

...he is still a crappy QB. End of story.

I simply hate holier than thou, Bible thumpers. and there is no doubt he is one of those.

Personally I think he is gay and hiding behind religion because he doesn't have the courage to "come out". If it turns out that I am right and he does "come out" some day, I may gain some respect for him as a person, but he'll still be a crappy QB IMO. lol

but he might be the best Gay QB. :-)

and a couple of them were pretty good if my memory serves me right.

I couldn't care less if he were gay, I wouldn't think a bit less of him if that turns out to be the case. What I can't stand are sanctimonious holy rolling, bible thumpers, and that's Tim Tebor to a T.

While I fall into the camp that Tim Tebow is a bad NFL QB, I would hardly call him a "holy rolling, Bible tumper"; he is definitely NOT imposing his religiously beliefs on others.  Everytime he seems to speak publicly, he talks about what he has to do, what he wants to do, how he should be acting, etc.

In the name of his religious view/moral code, does he tell YOU what you should and should not do?  Does he demand that YOU act a certain way

the crappy qb you speak of won an national title at UF, and was one bad TEAM PERFORMANCE away from playing for another his senior year. he was a big part of the UF team that won it all his freshman year, and the one non amazing year the team had during his 4 year run, he won the Heisman. we will use peyton manning as an example here, as he never even won the sec east, much less sec or a national title, and he lost the Heisman to a defensive player.

tebow then, in his first year as a starter, took a 1-4 kyle orton team to a 7-4 record down the stretch, won the division, and beat a good steelers in the playoffs with a huge game.

peyton manning on the other hand, too over that SAME bronco team and won 13 games, and proceeded to choke it all away in the playoffs, 3 turnovers, and a first game loss.

lesson learned here, peyton might get you the stats, but tebow wins the big games at a far higher %. with the proper coaching ( not rex ryan) tebow can develop into a solid starter. the people that jump a man like him who has had little to no chance, are the same ones that said newton would fail. hows that working out? give it time.

Denver is going nowhere  .
  Patriots are always improving .
Most guys that believe  Tebow is a crappy quarterback have never played the game .
Tebow is the kind of player  who will keep his nose clean , do what the Coach tells him to do and work extra hard  .

The  biggest  difference between the Jets and Patriots 1 quarterback, other than Sanchez is a failure and  Manning is a  genius quarterback  , Manning will never  be looking over his shoulder worried about losing his job to Tebow .
If Manning thinks it would be cool to mentor Tebow before manning retires and Tebow finds the pocket , that could turn into  a icy  frosting on the anti Tebow arm chair quarterbacks .

Tebow has an enormously better chance of winning a few  Super Bowl rings  before Peyton
  never wins another one .
I'd like to see Tebow on a punt return  against the Jets in September .

If he's gay I don't know or care  . If I had Gaydar I'd give  my perspective .

Umm, Manning isn't on the Patriots. Learn something about the game before you comment about it.

I think he is a horrible NFL quarterback, and I made a shit load of money on him when he was at UF.

My opinion on him as a person remains unchanged, I just don't like him or anyone like him. That's a matter of personal choice, and no one else opinion can influence me in that regard. I don't like bible thumping, phony ass, holy rollers. We can agree to disagree if you feel different about him.

As for his chances of ever being a "solid" NFL starter, I say no, but time will tell.  He does sell tickets however, and as a sideshow I think he will be in the league in some shape or form regardless of his ability or lack thereof.

First to kweezy while I agree with you about Tebow he is a good qb.. I disagree that Peyton chocked if anyone chocked it was the Broncos defense... they gave up a 80 yard TD with 15 secs. In my opinion he's the best NFL player to ever play the game.

To Gambler although you may not like Tebow that's ok.. but to say he's a horrible quarterback I have to disagree he took a 1-4 Denver team to the playoffs and he beat Pittsburgh. All Tebow does is in win you gotta give Tebow his props.. it doesn't always look good when he wins but the kid has a winning record as a starter

100% agree the defense chocked too, that safety should be unemployed, but im so used to seeing peyton do it year after year in the playoffs, that he doesn't get a free pass in a game in which turned it over 3 times

Sorry , I meant to say Brady in my previous Vodka analysis  .  Brady will never be looking over his shoulder unless he retires and comes back  years later . Manning could be looking over his shoulder half way through this season . Tebow will  learn from Brady .
I expect Tebow to make crucial plays and touchdowns for the Patriots but not as quarterback anytime soon . Everyone has noticed Brady doesn't like to leave the game until it's over , doesn't make any difference if their up 20 points with two minutes left .
If Tebow passes , Brady will be giving to him first and I don't see Brady doing junk plays .
Tebow might not pass at all this year during a  game .

Manning is too self centered to pass his skills to a potential quarterback , with too big of an ego to have someone on his team selling more Jerseys than him . That's the real treason  Denver had to cast Tebow away .
Patriots will more than double  Tebow's couple million in Tebow Patriot Jersey sales .

I'm not putting Tebow's  personal life in my perspective of him as a football player .
I look past the many thugs praising their  God during and after  the game .
I have more respect for Tebow and his Moms  habit of not doing mug shots during the  week and
asking  their God for forgiveness and help on Sunday  .

 Corrected below .

if you're comparing him to Peyton Manning as an NFL QB, you're displaying an utter lack of knowledge of the game. Peyton is one of the greatest QB's of all time; Tebow can't pass the ball.

Peyton WAS one of the greatest quarterbacks playing the game . those days are long
gone only to get worse .
Tebow is  young , willing to work hard ,  and strong , not even close to his peak ,
Manning is old and tired with a worn out arm .

If you are a Peyton  Manning fan,  be happy with the past , there is no future glory .

again, there is no comparison. Tebow is a 45% passer, and currently a third-stringer. Peyton is first ballot hall of fame. You're making a fool of yourself. What's next....Ike Davis is better than Lou Gehrig?

right now, yes, ike davis is better than lou Gehrig. it isn't a lifetime achievement thing, its right now, and last I checked, lou isn't alive

as far as im concerned ( rings over stats) peyton is the second best qb at his own Christmas dinner. I would take tebow over peyton this year. id still win games, and id save a shit load of money for other nig time players, since tebow doesn't need a $100 million contract

If he's cool with it that's enough for me
