Tiger looks good, he's easily getting to 82....18 is going to be a challenge though.

Tied for the lead, he knocks two in the water... talk about chocking big time!!

Just shows how fragile sergio is....Tiger has 92% conversion rate when leading after 54.

Would have been more interesting had he not choked to see what would've happened.

Have you seen the stats when Sergio and Tiger are paired in the final round of tournaments?  The Golf Channel was talking how Tiger has basically wiped the floor with Sergio when they've been paired together.

I'm to lazy to find the #s, but it's astounding.  Had Sergio managed to par out on 17 & 18, he probably would have crumbled in a playoff.

I'm not necessarily a big fan of Tiger, but give him his props, 4 wins already this year

But as they say a win is a win.

As a golf fan I would've loved to see a playoff rather than Sergio handing him the tournament!

I didn't see Tiger knock it in the water on 17 or 18.  And when he did knock it in on 14, he bounced back.

he couldn't back up the smack talk and Tiger punked him.

Sergio Garcia is another example of an athlete chosen as "great" WAY before he accomplished anything. It happens in every sport. We (fans/media) are so fast to want to anoint an athlete as elite or "the next great one" that often times these declarations are made too prematurely.

We all remember the 1999 PGA Championship as a 19-year-old Sergio Garcia runs up the fairway, hops into mid air to see the outcome of his shot from behind a tree. Well even though he lost that PGA to Tiger Woods, EVERYONE talked up Garcia as the obvious great challenger to Tiger. He and Tiger were going to battle for the next 15-20 years. It wasn't a question of when Sergio would win a major, but how many he would claim.

Well guess what? 14 years later we are still waiting for Sergio to win a major. Challenger to Tiger Woods??? Please. Sergio is not even a pimple on Tiger's backside. The bottom line is that Sergio is just not as good as everyone wanted him to be. Phil Mickelson, until he finally broke through and won several Majors, suffered the same problem and fate.

You just CAN'T anoint greatness. Greatness has to be earned over a very long period of time. Can Sergio win a major? Of course. There are many players who have won majors who have far less talent than Garcia. Players win majors in their mid 40's. Garcia still has plenty of good years left to try and erase his past failures.

because it was created by the media. Sergio is a good player. He's won 8 times on tour. i dont think he choked. He went for it to get a birdie and he stayed with Tiger all day Saturday and 16 holes on Sunday.
