to read, you would know about that.  BTW, where is there a rule that says you have to see a guy play before you can include him on a list of greatest running backs?  That is INCREDIBLY dumb, although a typical response for you!

more than 100 yards per game!  Only Barry Sanders comes close to that!

Terrell Davis was a good back, but certainly not great, at least in terms of career.

Sayers, who played on a shit Bears team and had his career cut short by injuries, was one of the best and most exciting-Best all time? Gotta go with Jim Brown-unbelievable speed and power-1rob

I have NEVER been so excited to see anyone take the field like i was with WALTER PAYTON.
That stutter-step and striaght-arm. He also played on a shitty(for the majority of time) bears team that made one wonder 'how the hell'?

I agree with you on Walter Peyton, Old School-he was awesome-did you know he could walk the length of the football field ON HIS HANDS?-Ditka was a total jerk for not letting Walter score a TD in the 85 Super Bowl win-(instead giving it to the 'Fridge') WP played and gave his all for years to the Bears-He was taken away much too soon-a truly great player and person-1rob...OUT

wasn't aware of.

It pissed me off when Ditka didn't give Walter a chance to get a td. It's my understanding that the ONLY time Walter ever complained about anything was that day and that fact.

Did you know that he had a penchant for running hills? After conquering one hill,he simply found a HIGHER one.

An incredible man and athlete.

even claimed that I had agreed to it. His very presence is insulting to anyone with a double digit IQ.

Oh, so many trolls and so few boards. lmao

O.J. Simpson. Even though he's proven to be a real piece of shit, he was as good as anybody I ever saw! His combination of speed, power and cutting ability was amazing.

but Walter also had an incredible ability to change direction rather quickly.

OJ Simpson; he played so long ago, didn't players have only the single 'face-guard' on the helmet?

They actually played in the NFL at the same time for about a third of their respective careers.

Jim Brown. That is how great he was; defensive coordinators actually had to create a defense to contain him. No one has had his combination of speed, elusiveness, size and toughness. Best ever - no question, and I love Emmitt Smith but he is not even close and neither is Barry Sanders, Walter Payton, Gale Sayers et al.
