...was a bit creepy.  Played on "We are Marshall"; good writing, but........

  In my opinion, I think the athletic program, not the athletes should have been penalized.  Yes, what happened was truly awful, current players were not invloved.  The sanctions handed down were not because of cheating, point shaving, etc, but criminal acts of former/deceased coaches, presidents, etc.  

 I commend the players that have agreed to stay, knowing that they will never play a bowl game, and that their professional football careers might be compromised, for lack of exposure.

  I truly wish the school, the players, and their families, all the best this coming season.  I also hope, that when Penn does play this year, that their opponents will keep their comments to themselves, and not extend their feelings to the current coaches and players.
