We might want to make one rule to keep the worst trolls in line. Posting four consecutive replies to your own post should be grounds for banishment. and maybe posting a certain number of OP's in a row should earn the poster a muzzle as well.

almost by definition board trolls crave attention, if no one responds to their posts, they keep posting crap until someone pays attention to thme, kind of like a baby crying who wet himself. lol

If we could make it easier to keep the trolls in line, maybe the troll problem would abate a little. Of course I only put about thirty seconds worth of thought into it, I am sure we can do much better without resorting to a fully moderated board.

Therefore, (sadly) pretty much anything goes.  Still, a lot of the posts that go up here don't stay long.  While I understand your issues, you can really have no idea what it would look like if nobody watched at all.  There are quite a few people that simply can't be trusted with a keyboard.

We're supposed to be IGNORING him, not starting threads about him!  WTF?!

Every time you talk about the Troll, reply to his threads, reply to his posts, or even open his posts--you're feeding him!  And he won't go away!

This past several days we had been doing a decent job of ignoring him, and it was starting to work as he was trolling the P & R board mostly.  Why?  Because they still feed him there!  We all need to ignore him completely and consistently!  And that means you guys who hang at the P & R board too!
