I would have thought Venus would have wasted her, given how the semifinals were, but Venus obviously played her best tennis against Safina and Serena played it today.
I don't know what's more boring, though...these two playing each other or the rest of the field in womens tennis right now. Justine Henin retires, Kim Clijsters retires (although she just came back, yeah right), and Sharapova is hurt and too busy with Hollywood, and all that is left is the Williams sisters and a few also-rans. ZZZZZZZZZ.
some of that is due to the fact that the Williams sisters have dominated the field, particularly when it comesto the Grand Slam events.
They have been criticized over the years for not playing a lot on the tour but I guess longevity has proven well for them
