Miami Marlins. I get the art deco thing. But the implementation is awful. Too many colors and it looks like it was designed by a ten-year-old. St. Louis Cardinals. Well, it's the Cardinals. I don't like anything about them at all. I laughed my butt off when Albert signed with the Angels. Pure schadenfreude! Dishonorable mentions: Houston Astros, Washington Nationals. Regarding the former: It's a little too retro. Regarding the latter: Every time I look at it, I have an overwhelming urge to go to Walgreens. Walgreens doesn't carry Monster Java; all they have is lousy Starbucks. An unforgivable sin.
everyone is entitled to an opinion, but the whole "lets be PC all the time " bullshit is just that....bullshit. if the native American names are offensive, which my NATIVE AMERICAN WIFE has no problems with for the record, then why is "fighting irish" ok at notre dame? that could feed into a stereotype of Irishmen getting drunk and having bar fights, coult it not? the florida state Seminoles have gotten consent from the Seminole tribe, so it must not bother them. lets not take things too seriously here.
as for the question, the worst logos to me are
1. mets- just a copy of the yanks helmet logo, in a different font 2. rangers- just a big T 3. reds- we cardinal fans don't care for you guys either. id laugh when your best player left, if anyone on that team mattered
noise. AIM officially stands against it but I've known several true blue FBIs who could care less and don't have issue with sports mascots that liken an American Indian as being BRAVE.
