Mark Buehrle of the White Sox just pitched a perfect game against the Rays. It was his 2nd no-hitter and took only 2 hours 3 minutes.

But still a significant accomplishment...It's been what, 6 years?

Against tradition in a no-hitter, the manager made a defensive replacement and by all accouts the hut moved to left woulf not have reach the ball.

That is why is only been 18 perfect games, its skill AND luck

And I'll bet that you watch NCIS just to drool over Mark Harmon. Did you know that he was a 2-year letterman as a quarterback for UCLA in 1972-73? See how sports ties into everything?

I remember his senior year at UCLA, #7, when they played USC in the Coliseum on a Saturday night. Can't remember who won but he had a really good game.

I was at a football game between Santa Monica City College and Pierce JC. Harmon was the QB for Pierce, and his father, mother, sister Kelly and her husband Ricky Nelson(!!) were there.

I seem to recall Kelly flipped out and Mark and his wife Pam Dawber (Mork & Mindy) had to raise her kids.  Kelly and Ricky had twins who became a fairly popular rock group called 'Nelson.'

Another child, Tracy, starred in an early '80s sitcom, 'Square Pegs', most notable for Sarah Jessica Parker playing a geek.

But that one was as good as it gets!  They cut in on MLB Network to show the ninth inning live, and once that play was made, the way was paved for perfection.
