NFL is fighting with some small biz owners in the Big Easy claiming they own the rights to the Fluer De Lis and the phrase Who Dat. They sent a cease order to Fluery Girl (small tee shirt boutigue in uptown) saying they own the trademark rights.
Guess millions in overpriced tickets aren't enough and OK, they own the team emblem, but the Fluer De Lis has been a New Orleans symbol since before there was an NFL.
she owns the expression "That's Hot," which, of course, is an absurdity. If everyone in New Orleans would go out and wear a T-shirt saying Who Dat, I don't think there would be much the NFL could do.
