Giants over Dolphins                      Seems to be an easy call.
Ravens over Cards                         Something is wrong in Baltimore but not that wrong.
Panthers over Vikings                     NFL should cancel this game for lack of interest.
Lions over Broncos                         Not sold on Tebow yet. Lion's defense
Bengals over Seahawks                  Bengals could get into the hunt this year or not.
Patriots over Steelers                     I think this is a tie
Texans over Jags                           Maybe best team in Texas this year
Saints over Rams                           Lambs to the slaughter
Titans over Colts                            I'm not sure the Colts are even trying to win.
Bills over Redskins                         No comment.
49'rs over Browns                          Browns will play hard to maintain their position, last place.
Cowboys over Eagles                      Best team but can they win?                        
Chargers over Chiefs                     Afraid so

Tebow got thrown in the deep end and while he almost drowned, he eventually figured it out mentally and then his inherant skills took over.  Denver has a new sense of worth about themselves and a new reason to believe in themselves.  They are an upset win in the waiting.

While I also believe the Steelers will eek out a W over the Patsies; the sure bet this week is EAGLES over the Cowgirls!!  Upset of the week is the 'phins taking down the G-men!

Unless he puts more velocity on his throws, the D-Backs in this league will be

I make these pick to start a conversation on the NFL games not as betting advice. Let me say that again; "Not as betting advice." And furthermore to paraphrase Hardy."There ain't no easy money betting on the NFL unless you own a LV Sports Book". And I'm pretty sure GaGambler will confirm that.

As for the Patriots and Steelers game I'm betting on the Patriots because I have to bet the entire ticket and this game could be a coin flip.  

NE has the better offence but just barely on any given Sunday, a slightly better coaching staff (except on 4 and 1 calls on occasion) and special teams are a draw.

The Steelers have a better defense and Sack of Potatoes  Ben R at quarterback who has won more games like this that almost anyone. It is one hell of a rivalry and Steelers pride may well play a part here. It has in the past with Troy P setting up a win. I have to bet on the game so I picked the Ravens but I'm not that sold.

Pwilly you could be right. But, Tebow isn't a proven product. Now you could say that about the Lions but they have a good defense and a little better track record at the QB playing and winning in the NFL. Coaching maybe about even.

Cowboys and Eagles. Do I have a bias on this, you know, the America's team and all that. So when in doubt bet the Cowboys. I don't know. I hate betting on Vick. I mean he's exciting, has good skills and can score. But he is one sack away from "Out for the season". And the way he runs with ball make me nervous. He increases the odds of an injury.  By the way the same could be said about Tebow.

Ol-Desperado and I quote "Upset of the week is the 'phins taking down the G-men!". I read this as the Dolphins over the Giants. That would definitely be the upset of the week, the month, maybe the Century. Not that the Giants are that great but they get more respect than that and the Dolphins haven't shown anything this year or last for that matter. Hard to believe the 2008 team could show up this week.
