I like watching people play sports as much as the next guy, I am not a paint your face and yell and scream kind of guy.
I find different aspects of sports entertaining. If I go to a game I spend as much time watching the fans, vendors and coaches and umpires as I do the players I have been listening to Steve Somers for years, he is sooooo entertaining.

Curious if any other cities have anything like him. I doubt it he is a coffe drinking Ciggerettes smoking Jew

I enjoy talking/listening about sports. The reasons you like Somers, is the reason I don't...He goes on way to many tangents, tries to be entertaining (misses the mark often) and forgets he is suppose to be talking sports. It's everything but the actual analysis with him. But if you are less interested in hard core sports discussion and more interested in being entertained, then Somers is perfect.  

Francesca knows his stuff, but he is way too arrogant with his callers. It's "I'm Mike Francesca and your not" attitude all the time. Heaven for bid a caller actually disagrees with his opinion. The verbal ridicule they endure is pathetic. But he is knowledgeable so I do find myself listening.

I enjoy Evan/Joe (though as they are mid day, I don't get to listen very often). Both men are knowledgeable, stay on topic and are respectful to the callers.
