Matt Cassel and Mike Vrabel, is this really going to help KC?

I think it's a good start.  But lets be serious here.  You get a decent QB finally, and then get rid of your best tight end, Tony Gonzalez.  WTF!

I think having a better QB is going to improve the team, however I think they need a lot more help than just a new QB.

Chiefs still in search of an identity. Are they a run team, pass happy, ball control defense. They got a lot of things to get straight, but a solid qb will at the very least keep them respectable.

Both are very good players though Vrabel is closing in on the end of his career.  What is much more important for you KC fans is the hiring of Scott Pioli as GM.  He has been a major part of the Patriot's winning formula working with Bill Belichick and the Kraft family for many years.  He has gotten offers to GM before and stayed in NE. The fact that he took this gig means that he thinks he can win in KC.  Be patient, it doesn't happen overnight but when you build a good team from the ground up their success will last for years.  The team is what is important, not the individual players.

Only us 'Boston' guys seem to get this (Scott Pioli).
Can't believe how little importance has been placed on this move.
This was, by far, the best off-season aquisition of '09.
KC fans should be getting their SO's and/or paying for our ATF's to satisfy the men of NE for this 'gift'!!!
I will be telling/reminding you 'I told you so' a few years from now.

Our offense is going to be incredible this year.

vrabel is old but relevant as long as he stays healthy and he's a great teacher for those coming up.  Yes, it's a help but it's not enough.
