Sorry for the delay in gloating I am traveling.

When more people in Atlanta can name the linebackers for the Packers than they can for the Birds, something isn't working.

Green Bay IS that good.  Aaron Rodgers is one of the most powerful weapons in the NFL, and if Matt Ryan could get the ball off nearly as quickly, we might have had a shot.  Unfortunately, for the better part of the night, Ryan seemed like he couldn't find a receiver downfield if Mularkey had handed him a drawn-out diagram.  Then when he finally did in his last two plays of the game, on that second pass White handed it right to GB.  Insult to injury.

Aaron Rodgers has proven too quick to be stopped by almost anyone.  Offense needed to be on their A-game, and even with a tough D with the likes of Clay Matthews to play against, it was a pretty poor show.

Heartbroken.

AND I lost a bet.

D played great.  Can't blame this on them.  Grimes caused the fumble,  but they picked on him the whole game.  We stop them on the first series of the second half, drive the ball down the field, drive to their 30, than pick up the hands to the face...which knocks us back to the 40 and out of field goal range for our kicker.  Packers drive down the field, get stopped at or 39.  I figure they are going to punt as well.  Their field goal kicker kicks a 56 yarder that would of been good from 61-62 yards.  Just an awesome kick.  All we needed with that lead was one more TD and we never could get it going.  Rodgers can sling it around.  Has a great arm.

AA if you had the points I'm sure you thought you were gonna "cash" that bet.  If it's an XXX bet do let us know.  Haha.

Agree. Ryan has a long windup and lacks a consistent deep ball. Which is why the Julio deal didn't make much sense to me, especially with all the holes on D, plus JJ is taking balls away from Roddy and that isn't helping our O. I like Van Gorder (love him actually since I'm a UGA fan), but he really doesn't have much to work with. The Ray Edwards signing is only so-so at this point, and we know the Predator is gonna be hurt often. In all they need a good draft right now, and after the Julio picks we traded away, isn't gonna happen.

Ryan had low yardage Sunday night, definitely, but I don't think I'm ready to write him off just yet.  I'm still hoping the see that offensive power from 2010, which so far I've seen only glimpses of in the first half.  With 7 TD passes this year, he looks like he may match or even surpass last year.  But he's already thrown 6 interceptions this year, so unfortunately looks like he'll be surpassing that also.

When they start with the no-huddle, keep it up.  Even if he isn't averaging as many yards as I'd like, he sees things on the field that Mularkey doesn't.

Ryan still is one of the better QBs in the league.  Only really Manning, Brady, and Rodgers and maybe Big Ben and Rivers are at that next level.

He just doesn't have that cannon arm, but neither did Montana.

I knew it was ATL's week to lose again (they're alternating L-Ws this year)... maybe next week they can win.

In the meantime:
Let's go Pens!

Seemed strangely biased toward Philadelphia during the last match up in the dome.

I think we have been played sloppy and made knucklehead moves all year.  A bad call here or there is going to happen.  The one rule I don't get is the possession rule on catches.  To me the q4 throw to douglas was a catch.  He made a few steps and was already on his ass on the sideline when the ball came out. To me it appears he had possession and it should be a catch.

Bad calls every now and then, sure.  Blantant hands to the face that was totally ignored?  Shitty.

You have to maintain control of the ball.  If I made the rules, I'd be with you, but I don't.  Some of the NFL rules are arcane.

Proud Cheesehead here... Sooo excited about this season, I was scared for a second but I knew Aaron would not let me down!!!

They gave up almost 400 yards passing. GB hardly used the Running game, and the linebackers were
still sucked-in on play action. If Finley hadn't dropped at least 3 balls and a touchdown, Rodgers would had about 450 yards.
