Although sking dosn't get a lot of play on here, just a note about her dying from injuries substained in a practice run.

Sad for Canada, she was very popular there.

I am amazed at what those skiers do

and somewhat surprised it doesn't happen more often.  Thank God it doesn't.

sports tragedies are just that...tragedies. to die just playing a game or enjoying an activity as excercise.

Going to Park City to ski next month

with my son, who has promised to keep me from a Sonny Bono-type crash, but I'd much rather run into those 36Cs! hehe.
