Don't thank me - we always use whatever game ESPN happens to be showing on Sunday night!

On a very related note, I miss Jon Miller and Joe Morgan. It's not the same without hearing Miller mispronounce every Hispanic name and Morgan being completely unable to shut up about the Reds.

I liked when miller used to say it's a double play!  

They could have at least got Chris Berman, the guys they have now are terrible.

 They could have at least got Chris Berman, the guys they have now are terrible.
I always found Berman to be more of a distraction than an addition to proceedings, mainly because all I can ever do is fixate on his voice. It's remarkable; I can't explain it at all. It's like he's constantly shouting without raising his voice or something, while sounding like he's smoked 40 cigarettes a day for 30 years. Oh, that and I couldn't take BACKBACKBACKBACKBACK... GONE every single time.

I guess some of his sound bites can be annoying, but he's one of the best in the business if you ask me.

The soundbites never bothered me other than BACKBACKBACKBACKBACK - the problem though is that I can't ever pay attention to what he's saying, because all I can do is try and work out what his voice reminds me of, or how it came to be. I don't have this with anyone else I can think of, it's literally just him and his voice.

He sounds like he's in the process of having a bandaid removed at all times and is trying desperately not to scream in pain, or he's straining to force out that one last bowel movement that he shouldn't, or something. I really can't put my finger on it at all - which is almost entirely the problem I have with Berman!
