I've been a Cowboy fan since I was 7 years old and I can't for the life of me figure out why all these people think Romo is the greatest thing since sliced bread. If I had a nickel for every stupid throw he makes every year, I could do a threesome with a couple of my favorite pornstars! LOL!

since I was 7 years old-actually brainwashed-the Redskins were the only market in NC and boy did they suck! I certainly won't gloat over tonight's less than stellar victory- I know how you feel, having had my heart broken so many times by the Anti Christ Roger Staubach (smile) who engineered so many 4th quarter comebacks to beat my beloved 'Skins-Skins should never have won this one with the failure to kneel at the end of the first half that resulted in the TD being the biggest play in the game. Also, another retarded running back runs out of bounds  to stop the clock with 2 and a half minutes left and an offensive lineman jumps early on a 3rd and 2 to thwart a 'Skins first down with less than 2 minutes left. The Cowboys made a great comeback and it was a shame about the last play- Romo got it done this time and made some great executions. From tonight's efforts, I don't think we'll see either of our squads in the Super Bowl-Condolences, Buddy.....1rob

Romo and the Boys will be fine...Even though they lost to the Skins' in week one, they will still win their division

In HighSchool I played QB myself. So when I watch the Boys play I always see things from a QB perspective. With that said ...

You try having 6'3 - 6'9 boarderline 300lb DefensiveLinemen come flying at you with as much force as a house rolling down a hill during a landslide and see how fast you make bad choices! Granted, that's what he gets paid to do. But the actual hit stays in your mind. Once you get hit for real, it hurts and you don't like it. Some guys do. That's why they get paid less (ha ha).

And yes the Cowboys will be fine. It's onlly game #1 and there's still 15 more to go. Even in the 90's when the Cowboys won those 3 SuperBowls, they lost one game within the first 5 weeks of the season. One game in this league is not a big deal. Once you get to 4 then you need to statr to worry.

Remember this. Even if the Boys don't win the division, they will make a play for the playoffs being a wildcard. And I've seen a few teams be the wildcard and end up winning the SuperBowl. SuperBowl 40 for example.

So don't stress one loss just yet. Though I am a Cowboys fan for life and been that way since '91, much to the shagrinn of my 49ers fan father (Huge Smile!). We still have plenty of games to win so one or two losses isn't a big deal.

But Romo should have made better reads out there. He's not in college anymore. And he's not playing Minnesoda, Purdue or Northwestern anymore. He needs to step his game up and realize that he can't be Bret Farve the gun slinger. He's not in that kinda offencive sceam in Dallas.

But all in all. It's a team sport. Everyone needs to play well or at least play with some passion to win. So one loss is fine ... for now.
