Hall of Famer Bob Feller died yesterday at age 92. Feller won 266 games with the Indians and was on the 1948 team, the laast Indian team to win the World Series. He missed 3 1/2 years in his prime to enlist in th Navy during World War II.
I had the pleasure & honor of having known Bob Feller personally. He was an amazing man. He wanted to be remembered as a soldier who just happened to play baseball. He was a real life american hero. He was my friend & my idol. I will miss him. R.I.P my friend.
