Belichick is pretty damn good, but that's partly due to the fact he has one of the best QB and Ryan, well he needs help at that position.
I'm not sure the $100,000 fine is really justified. The fan was clearly taunting. I would think a nominal fine of $5,000 would be about right.

I also think this (RR fine) is a make-up call for his fuckup on not fining Harbaugh/Schwartz. While there's probably no data available, I'd love to see what Godell's approval rating is from both players and fans. Bet it would be single digits if not '0'!!
I'd say what Rex did was pretty damn stupid. And based on they way the Jets have played against the Pats, anyone who doesn't think Belichick is a better coach is a fool. I kinda like Rex, but he's a bigmouth and should learn to shut up and take it. Besides, I'm primarily a Giants fan and will never forget what a great Defensive Coordinator Belichick was under Parcells. The Golden Era for Big Blue's Big D.
