As I mentioned before, I'm not a big hockey fan especially when it's 100 degress outside where you live and they're still playing hockey. , but holy crap that was a helluva game last night. I blinked a few times as the OT began and almost missed the game winning goal. That finger biting guy is pretty dam good. OK, hockey experts, take over!
Having said that, it's too bad that attention to the Cup seems down this year because there aren't any Sid's or Ovi's or NY's or Red Wings playing...because it is an awesome series. Boston is doing everything it can to keep up with what really is just a bit of a superior team to them. It will be interesting to see if they can take the next two back east and make it a series...coming so close and losing has to be discouraging.
It was only 91 here yesterday but I still left beers and strippers to get home by faceoff. It sucks living in a place where even tractor pulls jump ahead of the Stanely Cup finals on a bar's TV. AWESOME series this is ! One goal games and an OT.
