It does not make sense at all. He says he doesnt want to get him hurt wtf??? what makes it more likely he'll get hurt NOW compared to the beginning of the season WHEN HE WAS ACTUALLY HURT! The decision to rest him would have been wise in september not now
I think he is sitting out RG3 because he thinks he is going to have a job next year and does not want to risk RG3 getting hurt in a meaningless game.
The whole thing about RG3 getting hurt in, in the first place, is partly his fault since he should of pulled RG3 from the game that he ended getting hurt in last year.
