The first part seemed like he practiced it dozens, maybe hundreds, of times.  

The brief cut-aways of his mom with a stern look on her face, arms crossed...she looked PISSED and embarrassed to be there.

It went on alot longer than I expected.

He said he felt 'entitled'...I can see that.  Wealthy, popular, maybe he felt bullet-proof.

One thing I thought he could/should have said:

"I do not deserve your respect, I do not deserve your trust.  I promise all of you in this room, and all of you hearing this, or reading about it later:  I will do my best to earn your respect, your trust, your friendship, each and every day, for the rest of my life."

..or something similarly strong and straightforward.

Those are my first impressions...what do y'all think?

He said the right things..Sounds like he may not play at all this year..Grand slam was kinda set up for him..Masters, US Open at Pebble Beach, British Open at St. Andrews all course he likes..

I would love to know who participated in writing that speech.  It was very well crafted and I assume that the majority was written by his management company's PR group.

He owes his wife, and to a lesser degree his sponsors. He doesn't owe you, or me, a goddamn thing.

Tiger apologized to his sponsors . Does he have a sex addiction or is he just a cheating husband that has a lot of money to pay for more hookers then the average dude If he was single no one would have cared and he would have been called a big time hobbyist or player just chasing a lot of tail. Pretty pathetic that all the TV channels thought it was so important to break in all programs and show it.
